This thought has just came to me out of a sudden, I think this is a good time for me to stop and think about life.
As we can see, we’re living in a world which is craving for stimulation. What I mean is there are way too many things which blinds us from seeing our own purpose in this world.
The most obvious example is when people spend the entire life to earn money. I don’t condemn people to be rich but it’s just simply meaningless if one gets rich for the sake of getting rich. It’s pointless if one’s life embracing the ideology ‘who has the most toys (cars, house, properties) wins the game’.
So, my point is…people like this are chasing the stimulation of success so that one could constantly feels good. The constant satisfaction slowly develops into complacency, a character which places one to have so much to lose, and it develops into fear later on because the success could not be eternal anyway.
Are we studying for the sake to be called ‘professional’? Are we now making so much money just for the sake of acquiring the highest number in our bank account among the competitors? Are we winning just for the sake of winning? We do all these just to fulfill our short-live satisfaction in our life? If we are, we do ‘important’ things just for a moment of chemical reaction in our brain? What a bad joke…
Well, this idea just came to me out of a sudden… just post it to blog for fun…haha…cheerio…

It saddens me everytime I look into Myanmar condition. There has not been peace for already 20 more years ever since the junta being the government of the country.
The army is known as SPDC ever since they want to attract foreign investors, they put on a mask of democracy to prevent any UN interruption from their actual totalitarianism I would call. The minorities are still being exterminated to gain total supremacy of Myanmar, they kill innocent people just because of suspicions of joining the ‘rebellion’ like KNU (Karen’s National Unit).
I believe the Burmese’s prayers of cry is heard when the cyclone hits the country. I actually believe it’s a good sign despite the fact that a lot of people died in the natural disaster. The cyclone has drawn the UN attention to help Myanmar with the victims; but as I expected, the junta is just too cruel to let others to help especially the ones involve human resources.
Like other selfish governers, the resources from around the world are hardly diffused to the victims. I’m sure they all keep them for trading to feed their evil desires. I believe this vexes not only me but people around the world, still the volunteers are trying to make their ways through to help.
Recent news states that the volunteers actually have to find safe routes to evade juntas from taking away their goods. When they meet the victims face-to-face, the victims are like beggars along the roadside waiting for help. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7409834.stm)
Sooner or later, the volunteers will be increasingly gone missing without reasons. My hope is the UN will not take action too late to save as much people as they can by force. To me, the junta has already gone too far jeopardizing the Burmese, they anger me intensely (get a rambo there, gogogo!!).

It’s said that DrM’s leaving is another political tsunami after 8th of March GE. DrM has indicated as long as Badawi stays in power, he won’t be with the party.
DrM keeps on criticizing the ‘Badawism’ in the party. I believe his action is influential enough for many youngsters in the party because I don’t think they get what they want so far. Thus, it would be quite an impact to Badawi to stabilize his position as a leader.
I find it hilarious when DrM brags about ‘Badawism’ is not beneficial to the people, it’s like his intention is solely for the sake of people. It amuses me everytime whenever the politicians say they work ‘for the people’. Politics is the process by which groups of people make decisions on who gets what, when and how. All the way it has been about power fight, it is never about the people.
The fact that matters is in order to stay in power, you have to do something for the people. Thus, the contradiction between the true order of their agendas and what they say makes me laugh. Honestly the news is way more theatrical than TV drama.
My guess is maybe DrM has already conspired with Anwar to work on this. If Anwar suceeded in this ploy, Mukhriz (DrM’s son) may get something in return. The blow of 308 has already triggered the spark of change, I don’t think the Pakatan Rakyat has any reason to stop this fire. With DrM’s assistance, UMNO will suffer another tough battle from the oppositions.
From another perspective, maybe this old horse knows he doesn’t have much time in this world. Old saying, ‘when a human is about to die, the words are kind’. He knows his words are influential enough to cause changes in politics and with his age I think he got nothing to lose, so he does earn my respect if his intention is for the sake of the nation.

On 17-19 May, I was in YAF (Young Adult Fellowship) Retreat, it’s entitled ‘Relationship Enrichment’ camp somehow and so it is quite appealing to me!! Well, I did put a lil expectation in the retreat but ends up no fish available sadly…
Anyway, God has purposes in every part of my life, thank God. I do learn something from the retreat. If you know me for a certain time, you should have known I’m quite a flirtous kinda person. Though I’m not serious about that but somehow I feel like those words could raise misunderstandings, yet I kept behave in such a manner.
God has reminded and taught me at least 2 things in the retreat. One is what I say do represent what kinda person I am, and so I believe God tells me I have to be accountable for what I say. Thus, the lesson is I’ve to stop flirting around.
Secondly, God has reminded me to choose a christian spouse instead of trying non-christians and waiting for miracles. Honestly I’ve been trying to hunt some of the non-christians recently, it runs quite smooth to me in some sense actually… Thank God that suddenly he spank my head at the right time (the retreat) before I risk my future life by simply trying out.
Here I would like to apologize to the girls that I’ve kacau, though you all knew I was not serious but I feel like I should be accountable for whatever mistakes I’ve made. Hopefully you all will forgive my foolishness and misbehaves…

I would say this movie is a 2 thumbs up movie!!
As you all know the idea of Narnia series is almost the same as the bible stories. As a christian I really appreciate what C.S.Lewis has done to implicate bible values into this story.
For me, this movie has encouraged and refreshed my faith in Christ. It has given me more opportunities to share gospel through this movie as well, I thank God for blessing Lewis by inspiring him to write a novel like this.
The most memorable scene to me is the quest of Lucy to look for Azlan, she sees him but she did not look for him. And when finally she found Azlan, I’m sincerely touched by Azlan words ‘If you see me, why did not you look for me?’.
For many times we christians including me know that God exists and He is ready to help us, but we just believe in our own strength instead of seeking His help. It reminds me of the incidents of the Jews in the old testament stating that knowing God is one thing, but putting ourselves into action to obey God’s words is another thing.
May this movie brings blessings to you all, cheerio!!

After the political tsunami on 8th Mac 2008, to me it has seriously shaken the very foundation of UMNO. It is obvious that the people need a change instead of following the same old way the government used to be. It has given hope to the people to move the country to another level.
Undeniably Malaysia has been significantly known by the world under the 22 years of Mahathir’s tenure. However, he has opened many gateways for corruption as well. Anyway, Malaysia is still a young country (with only 50++ of histories) compared to others and so the 50 years of ‘power monarch’ under UMNO does not surprise me. However, like DAP election theme song says…itz time to change.
Theory says the longer one party stays in power, the more likely corruption remains. CPI (Corruption Perception Index) indicates Malaysia is ranked 43th among 163 countries (The 1st in place is almost corruption free) with almost 47% (latest revision is needed) of Malaysia business involves corruption. Though we should not believe in only one source but the figures do tell me we do need to reconsider our ways of trading.
If you ask me what change then? I would say who is going to be our next leader. The 3 hot candidates I perceive are Mr N, Anwar and Muhyiddin. Political fight to me is something defaming others and doing something which the people like, I’m not pro-DAP but I have to say Guan Eng is really good at this. Afterall, my perception is almost all politicians are hypocrites, the only thing which matters is do they have the knowledge and ability to govern a country.
Apparently it seems like the situation does not favor Mr N given the serious ‘Wan Azizah mentioned issue’ once again being the hot topic among people. In fact when I discussed this issue with one of my friend’s mom, she said ‘…for sure he did lar, if not who else?’. This rumor has become so ‘real’ although itz still not supported by evidence. I believe we can give all the credits to Anwar about this (applause!!).
Anwar could be our next PM from what I see because I think anything is possible after the surprise of 308. In fact, I prefer him to become our PM because not that I like him, it is the importance of power switch to keep the country from power mornach. If it’s not the time for this yet, Muhyiddin is not a bad choice afterall.
Once again, it’s jz my expression of feeling. No offence to any side of powers. Peace!!

"All men recognize the right of revolution; that is, the right to refuse allegiance to, and to resist, the government, when its tyranny or its inefficiency are great and undurable” (Henry Thoreau).
One of the characteristics of democracy in a country is free press. I’ve been watching TV3 nightline quite consistently to keep myself updated to the current direction of Malaysia. It is common to know that Malaysia is a country which has limited free press nationwide, nevertheless I believed news from TV source are still informative enough for us.
However, my belief has changed right after the 12th GE. As I follow the news I find that the bias of the source in terms of the way they convey messages, language, and the extent of contents has substantially increased. It leaves me no choice but to seek more frequently into blogs to get alternative source of information. I have to say I’m not going to belive every word the blogs posted but they do check and balance most of the news and issues.
News in Malaysia TVs and papers are not political ‘weapons’ against parties, they are magazine’s and party’s printings job (or maybe blogs?). Using newspaper and TV news as a battleground is extremely unethical, but if it’s unavoidable, why not giving equal air time to the oppositions to let the people judge on the both sides?
Anyway this post represents my opinions only, I absolutely hv no sedition intention to the rulers of Malaysia (well, to some sense you could say I’m a ‘coward’ anyway, haha).
